Hi All,

Don’t ask me why, but I jumped through low sec on a mission to grab some transaction logs. Now I made a couple of mistakes in the process not the least of which is undocking when I knew a Muninn was sitting right there… but it was a little… odd…

Know the old reflexes were a little rusty, but I was essentially being lazy about the whole thing. In a implant free clone and a covert ops, so I wasn’t too worried about it. Mistake no.1 🙂

Anyways, docked up. Grabbed the logs and while the guy was chatting in local to someone else, undocked figuring I had a good number of seconds of invulnerability to get to warp. OK says I as soon as I see a moon appear on screen…warp warp warp… and then my ship and then the station resolves….

What I thought was in front of me was actually behind and to the left of me, so there I am waiting with baited breath for the reorientation to finish and the warp to start, except it didn’t. No warning signs, no locking sound, not even the screech you get when you appear in your pod… I was just there. In the pod.

So, can’t dock for 9 seconds and wouldn’t you know it… next thing I appear in station in a fresh clone. Updated and went on about my business. With a red aggression timer for having engaged another capsuleer oO

Now I know a muninn with sensor boosters is an absolute frigate killer, but I’m having a hard time believing a cov ops with a very quick align time couldn’t get to warp in less than 10 seconds… even with the bad placement of the moon.

Lastly, the kill hasn’t been registered on either battle clinic or eve kill.

Like I said… Odd….
