The Quest for DPS

Hi All,

I have an alt. Let’s call him Bob. He was the first character I ever built in EvE and I reactivated him a while ago. Bob has a few things going for him, not the least of which are close to max torp skills and Caldari Battleship V.

So, I’ve been doing my usual EFT warrior thing and playing around with torp ravens and a blingy navy raven version. The DPS gets to be very good VERY quickly, though at quite short range (not as bad as blasters though). Add some implants and its good indeed. Here’s the kicker… it’s tunable damage.

1600 DPS out of a Vindicator is not too hard to achieve, 1500+ DPS hitting your weakest resist…? Ouchies. I am a little concerned about the practical application of that DPS. The raw output is likely to overcome any losses, and I need to get some drone skills sorted as well…

Why do I have a sudden urge to start a new project….?
